The rain fell softly, gathering in puddles, on a cool fall morning, as Jonathan and Kat awoke on the most important day of their lives, thus far. As the morning hours passed, Kat gathered with her bridesmaids and Jonathan with his groomsmen as they began the preparations for the day. Kat and the girls would head off to the salon and Jonathan and the guys to the ceremony site, not letting the rain put a hamper on their day.
As the hours passed, their excitement began to build, but if they were nervous, neither let on. They both had a smile on their face all day.
The processional music began to play as one by one, the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way up the isle. Everyone, especially Jonathan, was anxious to see the bride make her grand entrance. From behind the water feature, boasting a rainbow of colored bubbles, stood Kat, with her two Dad’s, ready to head up the isle to meet her husband to be. As she came into view, Jonathan and Kat saw each other for the very first time on their wedding day. No doubt, they both felt excitement and relief, that only comes with the sight of a true love.
The ceremony was beautiful and unique and truly theirs alone. They exchanged vows they had written themselves and rings that were just as unique - as the tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family.
The rain finally let up for a moment to get some beautiful photos outside. But, when it picked up again, we headed inside, were we were treated with an amazing mural backdrop and shooting stars. If that wasn’t enough, Kat, Jonathan and their guests danced the night away under a constellation of stars inside Arnoldo’s Banquet Center. It was the perfect backdrop to end a perfect day.
Kat and Jonathan, thank you for trusting your special day to Greg and me. We are forever thankful for you kindness and unending gratitude. You are both amazing people and together, that grows 10- fold! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness together!
